McGruff Club
McGruff Club reaches out to kids ages 6 to 10 to teach them important safety lessons while getting them actively involved in their communities through service projects.
Through a partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, NCPC has piloted McGruff Clubs at 11 different sites in 10 states. Expansion plans are in place.
McGruff.org
On McGruff.org games, stories, and webisodes teach children ways to protect themselves and handle everyday problems like bullies, and gives them a safe place to have fun online.
More than 200,000 children and adults visited McGruff.org from January to March 2006. The website recently received an honorary Webby award. The Milstein Foundation is the major funder behind this popular children's website.
McGruff In the Major Leagues
In the 2004 baseball season, NCPC partnered with Topps and put McGruff alongside well known players like Derek Jeter and Ichiro on baseball cards to give kids advice on how to deal with issues like hearing threats, solving problems, and bullying.
Thousands of cards were produced and handed out to kids at baseball games and events across the country.
Window and Door Safety
NCPC and Gorell® Windows and Doors created Window and Door Safety, an activity book for children provides rules on how to stay safe and shares safety games that will educate both children and their parents.
More than 10,000 copies are being distributed through members of the Crime Prevention Coalition of America.
