I'm the founder and Chairman for the Community Watch Coordinaotrs (CWC) which meets monthly. It is comprised of 32 Neighborhood Watch Coordinators in the Lee County Sheriff's Bravo District. Our goals are to maintain neighborhood watches once they are started by sharing ideas and activities that work. We also carry a large voice to our local politicians as we partner with them to ensure that county resources are applied where they are needed most. We have gotten roads paved, speed limits reduced and posted, the right-of-ways mowed, street lighting and so much more. We clean up our own neighborhoods with the help of Adopt-A-Road. Our neighborhoods have shown so much improvement that some are reporting zeero crime - although our district has had one of the highest crime rates in the county. Our relationship with the Lee County Sheriff's Office is so amazing that each year neighborhood watch groups play a softball game against the deputies and compete for a huge traveling trophy. And more about me, I also serve on the Board of Directors for Keep Lehigh Acres Beautiful, was the Secretary for a Weed & Seed project in Lehigh, as well as Chairman for the Community Policing Subcommittee. Between 2007 - 2010 I held neighborhood clean-ups throughout Lehigh Acres with 70-200 volunteers for each project and removed between 1-4 tons of trash, tires and debris. As a community leader in Lehigh I strive to improve Lehigh Acres, one neighborhood at a time. As a Real Estate Agent I strive to improve Lehigh Acres, one home and one family at a time.
