November is Native American Heritage Month. NCPC is committed to keeping all Americans safe, including those who live on tribal lands, and has produced several publications for American Indian and Alaskan Native audiences. The Adventures of McGruff® and Scruff® in Indian Country is a comic activity book that addresses some of the toughest issues faced by Native American children. Hope and Harmony: How Seven Native American Tribes Reduced Crime and Violence covers the strategic collaboration between tribal governments, law enforcement, public and private service, and community residents.
