Generational Challenges in Law Enforcement Course

The International Association of Chiefs of Police is holding a Managing Generational Change course in White Bear Lake, MN, on August 25 – 26, 2009. The course contends that generational changes have led to a new set of problems for law enforcement managers and supervisors. To some supervisors and managers, new employees from Generations X and Y do not seem to have the same level of dedication to the job, and, in turn, they do not seem to be as willing to pay their dues to get the privileges earned by earlier generations. The hands-on course is aimed at resolving these problems and perceptions.
