Ushering in The New Year

This issue of Catalyst is devoted to the resources that we hope will help you carry out your various missions in the new year. As you know, crime prevention takes many forms and encompasses broad areas and types of expertise. Therefore, we have included all types of organizations, from those that work with children to those that work with seniors, and from those that work on drug abuse prevention to diversity issues. To ensure that this issue of Catalyst serves as a handy reference guide, we have grouped these myriad organizations into four areas: Children and Youth, Crime Prevention Basics, Emerging Trends, and Engaging Law Enforcement.
