NCPC’s 8th National Conference on Preventing Crime will be held from October 3–5, 2007, in Atlanta, GA, and will feature three keynote addresses and more than 65 training sessions in the topical areas of
- Crime Prevention for Business
- Partnering with Government and Law Enforcement
- Promoting Crime Prevention and Personal Safety Basics
- Protecting Children and Youth
- Leadership in Crime Prevention
- Emerging Crime Trends
The conference will attract attendees from across the United States and other countries, and from the fields of law enforcement, crime prevention, loss prevention, criminal justice, the military, youth services, education, nonprofit organizations, and social services. Join us to learn cutting edge strategies, crime prevention practices, and to meet others engaged in different aspects of crime prevention. The Hall of Discovery, our exhibit hall, will provide opportunities for networking and information-sharing and -gathering. The conference also features six Professional Development Institutes (PDIs) for crime prevention practitioners, available for an additional cost.
NCPC will host the first-ever McGruff Golf Classic four-player scramble at the conference this year, Tuesday, October 2, at The Commons at Fort McPherson, a private military course. Registration is $75 per person for attendees of the 8th National Conference on Preventing Crime.
