City of Miami Springs Semi-Annual Citizens Crime Watch Meeting

Semi-annual crime watch meeting to better organize the residents and block captains, teach crime watch tips, and teach how to report crime and suspicious activity to the local police department. Recent crime statistics and data will be discussed, and how residents can avoid being the victim of crimes in their neighborhood. The police department is online with weekly updates, and the website is interactive to the point where residents' emails can be answered daily. Residents are also encouraged to sign up for NIXLE, so they can recieve up-to-date information about road closures, police activity, etc. The Miami Springs Police/Community Policing Office staff works every day to encourage a strong partnership between residents and their police department.
