Marana Arizona Celebrates GAIN
Getting Arizona Inolved in Neighborhoods is an annual statewide crime prevention celebration and the Town of Marana Police Department is participating for the third year.

The Marana Police Department along with town government officials, watch programs, home owner associations, apartment communities, and other town residents will partner to show our appreciation for those who support our efforts in the daily fight against crime. Our purpose is to heighten awareness by increasing communication among neighbors, police, and community leaders. Events are encouraged at the neighborhood level. We continue to feature "Community Government on Wheels" to make stops at various events throughout the town to highlight resources available to residents and neighborhoods that assist in their efforts to improve the safety, security, and quality of life in neighborhoods and business districts. We continue to see more neighborhoods involved in this event, increasing from seven to nine last year. Celebrations range in size from a couple of dozen people to more than 100.
