The City of Owen Police Department will be active in the City of Owen and the Village of Withee, educating residents and business owners about how to protect themselves from being the vicitms of a crime, teaching children about safety, and promoting community-wide involvement in which  neighbors will work with neighbors to keep the community safe.

It is this department's objective to work side by side with our local government officials, school district, and residents to obtain and maintain a safe community, one in which citizens will work together and be a deterrent to those who prey on unprepared residents and business owners.

By getting the residents and local business owners involved and by getting our local newspapers and radio stations to use public service announcements, we are possitive that this upcoming Celebrate Safe Communities event  on October 1-3 will be a huge success for Owen-Withee, WI, and one that will become an annual event to bring us together as one and to promote our safe community success and goals.
