15th Avenue March Celebrates Safe Communities
The 15th Avenue Crime Watch and Miami-Dade Police Intracoastal District celebrates with a march in the Ives Estate Area lead by Rev. Robert Moss.

The Ives Estate 15th Avenue Crime Watch will host its 2nd annual Celebrate Safe Communities event by including all the neighborhoods surrounding this area, which will consist of several blocks. The Miami-Dade Police Department Intracoastal District lead by Officer Tony Magrino will lead a caravan with their community bus and police cars. Residents will march with lights and Citizens Crime Watch yellow t-shirts to bring attention to the rest of the community. A block party will follow with presentations by various local agencies: State Attorney, Miami-Dade Community Affairs Department, Department. of Corrections, and the clergy.
Informational materials on how to implement Neighborhood Watch will be provided to those areas that are not yet organized, crime prevention materials will be distributed, McGruff fingerprint cards will be given to parents, and anti-bullying and stop-the-violence materials will be given to the kids.
