Yoem Pueblo Neighbors Celebrate GAIN in Marana

Local residents participate in getting involved in their neighborhood for a third year.

Start Date: October 1, 2008
City, State: Marana, AZ
Intended audience(s):
Children, Community volunteers, Local elected officials, Local government agency officials (other than public safety), Parents, Senior citizens, Teens, Watch groups (Block, Neighborhood, Business)

This neighborhood celebrates its community spirit by sharing fun and good food. There is a mix of young and old in this established pueblo which is part of the Pasqua Yaqui tribe.  Residents share a concern for the welfare of their community and the citizens who live there.  By joining together once a year, they renew that commitment.
