October is Crime Prevention Month, Celebrate Your Safe Community! New in 2011 - Four Weekly Theme for CSC!
This year, for the first time, Celebrate Safe Communities has chosen themes for CSC events held during Crime Prevention Month-one theme for each week of activities. Budgets are tight, so it's more important than ever to emphasize prevention by recognizing past successes, organizing new CSC events, and planning for the future. CSC is identifying resources around the themes for online links and resources, and print materials that can help local law enforcement agencies and community groups plan and implement events during Crime Prevention Month or throughout the year.
