Ouisie Shapiro and photographer Steven Vote speak with NCPC’s Robin Young about the continued struggled to cope with bullying and harassment, and how they used this book and imagery to capture the story shared by far too many youth today.

Biography – Ouisie Shapiro - In addition to Bullying and Me: Schoolyard Stories, Ouisie Shapiro is the author of Autism and Me: Sibling Stories and co-author of Batter Up: Baseball Activities for Kids of all Ages. She is also a three-time Emmy awardwinning writer/producer. Her credits include Hi! I’m in College, a short film about four young men with autism attending college; and the HBO films, Lombardi; Breaking the Huddle: The Integration of College Football; Dare to Dream: The Story of the U.S. Women's Soccer Team; and Nine Innings from Ground Zero.
