Ian S. “Buddy” Lovestock – Level II National Crime Prevention Specialist

Mr. Lovestock has more than 40 years of service to his area communities as a peace officer or in a police-related position. Notably, he is certified and licensed by the State of Texas as a peace officer and commissioned by the Bexar County Constable, Pct. 2 as a Deputy. He currently serves as an adjunct professor of Criminal Justice, at The University of the Incarnate Word. Mr. Lovestock holds many certifications and has extensive training and experience in crime prevention and policing.

Randy Francis – Level I National Crime Prevention Specialist

Mr. Francis is a 34 year public safety veteran currently serving as the Manager for Hazardous Materials and Counterterrorism Planning for the Virginia Department of Emergency Management. He began his career as a Police Officer with the Lynchburg, Virginia Police Department in June of 1978 and went on to serve with the Sweet Briar College Police Department, the Bedford City Police Department, the Virginia Department of Corrections, the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S. Navy.
He has served in most police capacities including patrol, investigations, tactical and maritime law enforcement.

Abe Jones – Level II National Crime Prevention Specialist

Mr. Jones started with the Jackson, TN Police Department in 1977. He progressed from patrol to the Community Crime Reduction Unit, focusing on the reduction and prevention of crime in public housing complexes. He holds special interest in training in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design, Community Oriented Policing and Advanced Physical Security. He currently works in the Jackson, TN Crime Prevention Unit.

Kory Sneed – Level II National Crime Prevention Specialist

Mr. Sneed was hired by the Scottsdale Police Department in 1995. In addition to patrol, he has been assigned to specialty units such as the Bike Unit, D.A.R.E. Unit, School Resource Unit and over the last 7.5 years to the Crime Prevention Unit.  For the last six years, he has been an instructor for the International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioners where students can achieve their designation as an International Crime Prevention Specialist.  In 2011, he became a contract instructor for the National Crime Prevention Council out of Washington D.C. He currently serves as the Vice President for the Arizona Crime Prevention Association.
