McGruff is also available in an animated costume version which has an amplified voice system, moving mouth, and eyelids; it also comes with safety messages and songs in MP3 format that are played through the costume. The McGruff and Cruiser® robot is a fully animated McGruff the Crime Dog® in a convertible car. McGruff moves, speaks, plays MP3s, winks, and blinks–all by remote control.
