Community Watch Coordinators Celebrate Safe Communites on Oct. 3

A core of voluteers will blitz neighborhoods with fliers announcing the Lift Up Lehigh event to be celebrated on October 24 at Vetrans Park.

Business owners, Children, College or university student, staff, or faculty, Community volunteers, Homeowner or neighborhood associations, K-12 school faculty or administrators, Local elected officials, Local government agency officials (other than public safety), Local news media, Members of civic organizations, Military service members and their families, Parents, Representatives of public safety agencies besides law enforcement (fire, emergency services, emergency planning/management), Senior citizens, Teens, Watch groups (Block, Neighborhood, Business), Youth-serving organizations (B&G Clubs, YMCA, etc.)

The Community Watch Coordinators (CWC) will blitz the Lower Leonard neighborhoods with fliers announcing Lift Up Lehigh Celebration which will take place at Vetrans Park on October 24.  Neighborhood Watch coordinators, members of Lehigh Acres Weed & Seed, Lehigh Senior High School Key Club, East Lee County High School Key Club, and youth from the NAB program will all come together to help distribute the fliers.   

Lift Up Lehigh is a community project filled with information and fun. There will be free food and activites for kids. The main purpose is to inform the community of different programs available to those in need.
