Community-wide Safety Fair

The 3rd Annual Hackettstown Community Day will  be at the Lowe's Home Improvement Store (217 Mountain Avenue, Hackettstown, NJ)  on Saturday, October 3, 2009, from 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. We will have fire trucks and ambulance services from surrounding areas. The Mountain Lake Fire Department's smoke trailer will teach kids how to get out of a burning house. The New Jersey State Police will land a helicopter.The Hackettstown Police Department will make child ID cards.  Numerous nonprofit organizations, local businesses, and other area groups will give out literature and gifts. There will be free food and drinks while supplies last, and Mars Snack Food US will be giving out lots of candy. There will also be live music and entertainment for everyone, and a live radio broadcast by WRNJ Oldies 1510. News12 New Jersey will also be there. The event is free to everyone of all ages.
