Safety Saturday

We will be hosting a community-wide safety fair, with educational, informative, and fun activities.

Business owners, Children, Community volunteers, Homeowner or neighborhood associations, Local elected officials, Local government agency officials (other than public safety), Local news media, Members of civic organizations, Military service members and their families, Parents, Representatives of public safety agencies besides law enforcement (fire, emergency services, emergency planning/management), Senior citizens, Teens, Watch groups (Block, Neighborhood, Business), Youth-serving organizations (B&G Clubs, YMCA, etc.)

October is National Crime Prevention Month, and Black Hills Recovery Network and Neighborhood Watch have joined together to celebrate, educate, and take a leadership role in crime prevention.

In keeping with this mission, we are planning Safety Saturday, a celebration of safe communities, on Saturday October 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This event will educate parents, children, and the public on ways to make safe decisions, prevent injuries, and encourage the use of safety equipment.

Black Hills Recovery Network and Neighborhood Watch are inviting you to join us for a day that will be informative, educational and fun.

There are already several fun events already scheduled for the children.

Used Book Sale
Story Corner

We will be including several informative and educational activities for both adults and children.
