Join the national effort to help stop digital abuse!
It’s no secret that we live in an ever-evolving and expansive digital age. However, as with any innovation, the development of new digital media is not without its consequences. Issues such as cyberbullying, sexting, and online dating abuse are just a few of the concerns faced by youth across the nation. To address these issues, MTV’s A Thin Line campaign hopes to involve young people, like you, to identify, respond to, and stop the spread of digital abuse in your life and the lives of those around you. The campaign has developed two new opportunities for you to get involved and let your voices be heard:
Youth Street Team – Ensure that the youth voice is represented around issues of digital abuse and discrimination. Click here to learn more.
True Life- Share your personal stories and experiences of digital discrimination or “digital hate” and be featured in an upcoming episode of this popular documentary series. Click here for more information.
As an opportunity to speak up against some of the most serious issues facing teens and young adults, this is one text, email or twitter message that is worth passing on.
